Zoo Med's new Repti Tuff splashproof halogen lamp is designed for all reptile terrarium set-ups where high humidity or accidental water splashing could cause a regular heat lamp to fail/shatter! INSTRUCTIONS: Use in a reptile hood or clamp lamp fixture only. Make sure hood/clamp lamp has a ceramic fixture base for halogen lamp to screw into (no plastic fixtures). Only operate lamp 8-12 hours per day, giving your animals an appropriate "photoperiod" (i.e: day/night cycle). CAUTION: Do not allow combustible materials to come in contact with the lamp (i.e: curtains, clothes, etc...). Lamp and fixture must be securely suspended above the habitat.
