A lovely near 50-year-old Gentile Glass Co hand blown commemorative floral paperweight. Gentile Glass Co. was founded in 1947 by John Gentile, and based in Star City West Virginia. It is no longer in existence. This heavy art glass paperweight was made in 1976 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the American Revolution, and is marked as such on the bottom. Great piece for an American art glass collector! 3 1/8 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches wide, and weighs a hefty 1 lb 10.6 oz. I often accept reasonable offers. Feel free to make me one.
