Fostoria Crystal Art Glass Paperweight Clear Heavy NEW OLD STOCK #1 THE STORY: When Fostoria Glass closed in the 1980's, its remaining stock was sold off to the Lancaster Glass Company in Ohio. A few years later, another company then purchased the lot for their new store in the mid-2000s. We purchased these elegant crystal pieces from that store for resale. Most of this massive lot has now been sold to the public. At this point, many pieces that remain may not have made it through the final manufacturing inspection process. So, we hand-picked the best pieces possible, carefully washed them, and did our own careful inspection for condition. Most of our NEW OLD STOCK Fostoria came out of large manufacturing cardboard pallets after being stored for many years. Thus, most do not have any Fostoria packaging or sticker/labels. They were never boxed. Please note that some pieces may have very minor manufacturing flaws. We are not Fostoria experts, but we have done our best to describe the products accurately. In our opinion, If there is a flaw, it does not distract from the overall beauty.
